Carol J.Tallman, age 85, of Woodstock, Georgia, formerly of Lake Wales, Florida, passed away November 9, 2019 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. She is survived by daughter Terri Baker Daniels and her husband John of Acworth, Georgia, and son, Jeffrey Baker of Woodstock, Georgia, grandchildren Joshua Baker, Cody Baker and Marley Baker.
Carol was born in Michigan and had fond memories of growing up on a farm with her three siblings, Keith, Dorman and Patricia who all preceded her in death. She graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1952 and went to work for 33 years with Ford Motor Company as a Clerical Analyst.
She met her second husband, Gordon, while working at Ford and they spent 35 years together before his passing in 2009. Carol enjoyed golfing, snow skiing and dancing and during football season, tail gating at the Michigan State University football games. After retiring she and her husband spent their time traveling across the country exploring national parks and visiting with family and friends.
Her sense of humor and quick wit made her the center of attention. She will be missed by her children and grandchildren.
A Celebration of Carol's life will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 from 3:00 until 5:00 pm at the Woodstock Funeral Home.
