May 9, 1931, to Grace Adeline Bowles Wallace and Joseph Emmett Wallace.
She graduated from South Charleston High School, South Charleston, WV. Carolyn retired after having a successful career as a legal secretary. In her spare time, Carolyn enjoyed needlework, sewing, traveling, playing games and working on jigsaw puzzles.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Emmett Wallace; husband, Robert Eldon Haney; daughter, Ellen A. Mooney; twin sister, Marilyn Samples; brothers, James Gilbert Wallace and Jack Emil Wallace.
She is survived by her brother, Joseph David Wallace; sister, Laura Ann McKinnon; daughter, Victoria Jane MacCauley; grandsons, Jason Mooney, Charles Mooney, Matthew MacCauley; and Mark Haney, son of her late husband.
A private service will be held for the immediate family.
