

Carolyn Webb Wagnon, age 95, of Woodstock, Georgia, formerly of Plains, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 4, 2019.
She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on June 25, 1923 to the late Betty Rusmisell Webb and Floyd Benton Webb.
Carolyn retired from the Federal Government Department of Higher Education as a Program Officer. She was a resident of the Oaks at Towne Lake. She is survived by a daughter and son in law, Betty and Bill Akins of Woodstock; a granddaughter, Julie King and husband Mark King of Decatur; a grandson Bill Akins and wife Karen Akins of Bentonville, Arkansas; four great-grandsons, Owen, Myles, Henry and Oliver; a sister and brother in law, Sara and Lewis Williams of Macon; a niece Carol Baumgarten of North Reading, Massachusettes; and many cousins.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Floyd F. Webb of Macon and nephews, Dave Williams and Jack Perkins.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery 422 Georgia Highway 49 South Americus, Georgia 31719 with Rev. James Beckett officiating.
