Charles Danny Boatright MD

He was a truly beloved husband, gracious son, endearing father, and brilliant, physician.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years,

Patricia Boatright, his two daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie, his son Charlie, and his beloved dog, Herschel and the rest of "The Gang."

Danny is the son of Frank S. Boatright and Wilma Boatright

of Jesup, Georgia and brother of three sisters; Pat Hayes,

Sue Blocker, and Ellen Taylor.

Danny was a generous man with a heart and mind that allowed him to excel in his medical practice, raise and provide for his family. He devoted his free time to the things he loved most; his wife and Herschel. Receiving his MD from Medical College of Georgia and graduating from UGA he was a loyal and devout UGA football fan. He never missed a game. He enjoyed The Annual Island Parties with the "Armadillos" in St. Simons, Ga. These were some of his best memories and stories. He had a sense of humor that keeps us laughing.

The love our family had was unconditional. "And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make." May you stay forever young Danny. Go Dawgs! We love you!

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Woodstock Funeral Home.
