He attended Troy State University.
He passed on April the 1st from Cardiac Arrest.
Charlie was an outside builder salesman and spent most of his career with Progressive Lighting.
Above all, Charlie was a devoted family man. He had a huge heart and was a generous compassionate man.
He loved going to all of his grandchildren's activities. He loved the beach and spending quality time with his grandchildren. Charlie was an avid golfer and loved to watch all sports and old western movies.
Charlie's memory will be forever cherished by the love of his life, wife Sandra (Evelyn) Shelton, son Gregg Shelton, late son Brent Shelton, daughter in law Heather Shelton, grandchildren Tanner Shelton, Paige Shelton-Crumbley, Chandler Shelton, three, great grandchildren Wyatt Crumbley, Addison (Addy) Shelton, Everly Crumbley, Sister Rebecca Henson, Cousin Jim Shelton.
