Cheryl Craft Hulsey
December 13, 1952 – August 8, 2018
Cheryl Craft Hulsey, age 65, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2018. She was born to her late parents, James Craft and Lois Cassidy Craft in Fort Smith, Arkansas on December 13, 1952. She was the youngest of three including her sister, Dereece, and brother, Ronnie.
Cheryl was one of a kind – she was feisty, outgoing and funny. She was opinionated and was comfortable speaking her mind whether it was about politics or the weather. She enjoyed game shows such as Family Feud and Jeopardy, trivia, reading especially murder mysteries and watching movies. Cheryl was supersticious which added to her originality. She loved going to the beach and visiting Chattanooga. More than anything, she was family oriented. She would do anything for you and truly cared for her friends and family.

Survivors include her daughter, Carrie Jones Hagen and her husband, Drew; granddaughter, Haylee Betterton and her husband Terry Newton; grandson, Braden Betterton; great-granddaughter, Rylee “Monkey” Newton; brother, Ronnie Craft; and mother in love, Doris Jones and her husband Glenn.
To honor Cheryl’s wishes, there will be no formal services. A memory garden will be planted at the family’s home in Cedar Bluff, Alabama. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please have your florist contact Woodstock Funeral Home at (770) 926-3107 to send a green plant to help Cheryl’s memory garden grow.
