Chris Madson

Christopher Robert Madson, 24, of Woodstock, GA was called to his heavenly home on March 15, 2015. Chris was born on October 10, 1990 in Redmond, WA and moved to Woodstock with his family when he was 8 years old. He was active with the youth group at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. He graduated from Etowah High School in 2009 and enjoyed working on cars and computers. He was a valued employee of DLM Heating and Air. Chris was a wonderful and loving big brother to his three younger sisters and was his parents’ pride and joy. He was ambitious and dreamed of one day owning his own business. Chris cared for his family and friends and had a wonderful sense of humor. His parents were very proud of his accomplishments and he will be immensely missed by those who knew him and he will remain in our hearts always. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marilyn Madson and maternal grandmother, Diana Schabacker. Chris is survived by his parents, Martin Louis and Adrienne Grace Madson, sisters, Allison Marie Madson, Caroline Grace Madson and Elizabeth Nicole Madson, paternal grandfather, Peter Robert Madson (Marion), maternal grandfather, Robert Bruce Schabacker (Joyce), aunts, Melinda Johnson (David) and Stephanie Serino (Roland) and uncles, Jeffrey Madson (Kimberly), Daniel Madson (Sandra), James Madson (Kimberly) Jeffrey Schabacker (Adele) and Paul Schabacker (Mary) and many loving cousins. A memorial service will be Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 7:00pm at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 2240 Shallowford Rd, Marietta, GA 30066. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in memory of Chris to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. Donations will be distributed to assist others affected by substance addiction.
