I was a friend of Cindy's about 30+ years ago. We lived at Whiteman AFB together. She had called me a while back saying she had gotten a job at Scott AFB which I live near, I was so excited for her to come out here. But hadnt heard from her as to when she got here. I have been searching for a long time and today came across her obituary. Needless to say I am devasted as I am sure your whole family is. I just want to say how sorry I am and will keep you in my prayers. I have extremely fond memories of Cindy when we were at Whiteman, she was a great friend.

Dick, my heart aches for you with Cindy's passing. While we know she is no longer in pain, and has gone home to the father, the sense of loss still stings. Know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
