A Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00 pm. February 11, 2023, at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Bruce Reed officiating. Burial will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2023, at Kennesaw Memorial Park with Poole Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held Friday, February 10, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Poole Funeral Home Woodstock. A second visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity in Mrs. Rendes honor.

Mrs. Rende was born May 4, 1943, in Illinois to the late Francis and Agnes Marshall LaPointe. She graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1966, then began teaching 4th grade, which she thoroughly loved. Later, she tutored while raising a family and pursuing a masters degree. She was a loving and beloved mother, grandmother and wife, with a great sense of humor, and an infectious laugh.She loved to tell stories, and was loved by many. But she also had a tender side and once took in a stray dog, nursed it back to health, and gave it a loving home.

Mrs. Rende was preceded in death by her parents, and a son Kevin Rende.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Anthony (Tony) Rende, Woodstock, Georgia; her son,, Todd Rende; grandchildren, Bailey and Kylee Rende; step daughter, Toni Enburg.
