Connie Webster

Mrs. Connie Webster, 85, of Waleska, Georgia, passed away November 27, 2014. She was born on May 31, 1929 in Rockford, Illinois to the late Anthony and Mammie Martarano. She worked for Nelson Knitting Company as a Stocking Turner when she was a young girl. Before WWII, she met the love of her life Bert W. Webster. After he returned home from his service in the Navy, they married and started their family. She was a member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary Club and the Navy Club. Connie also loved bowling, playing cards and dancing. She also loved family gatherings. Connie was an active member of the Cherokee County Senior Center and the Woodstock Senior Center. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Bert W. Webster, sister, Rose Losh and brother, Sam Martarano. She leaves behind sons, Gary Webster (Linda) and Anthony Webster (Lori), daughter Rosemarie Beauchamp (Bret), grandchildren, Jeffery, Christopher, Natalie, Cheri, Nathan, Nichole and Sarah, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, brother, Michael Martarano (JoAnne) and sisters, Antoinette DiGiovanni (Anthony) and Sarah Irving. A funeral service will be Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home.
