Cynthia Muir Ruehrwein

Mrs. Cynthia M. Ruehrwein, age 77, of Acworth, GA. answered God's call and peacefully left her earthly life on July 19, 2024 at Kennstone Hospital in Marietta, GA. Cindy was born on August 25, 1946 in Dover, Delaware to Harold W. & Grace Walls Muir.

It was while she was employed at Epps Air Service she met her future husband, Jimmy G. Ruehwein. They married at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Marietta, GA on April 16, 1976 and shared the next 48 years of Love & Life's adventures together.

Cindy was predeceased by her parents', Harold & Grace Muir; sisters, Diane Yarchever & Judy Owen; and a brother, Harold W. Muir, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Ruehrwein; stepdaughter, Tina (Ruehrwein) Cutler of Tiftin, GA; sister, Becky Sherwood & husband Steve of Holy Springs, GA; and brother, Mike Muir of Goose Creek, SC. Cindy is also survived by a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and friends she loved as family.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Memorial Service will be held in her honor following the visitation at 12:00 PM in the chapel at Poole Funeral Home, 1970 Eagle Drive, Woodstock, GA 30189.

Cindy's family will gather at Forest Lawn memorial Park at 656 Roscoe Road, Newnan, GA at a later date.
