David Edwards was born on Mother’s Day, May 10th, 1981 in Miami Florida, son of Dennis and Diane Edwards. He later moved to Atlanta in 1985. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Kennesaw State University in 2004 and worked for IBM for three years and NCR for five years.
His kindness will be missed in the many lives he touched through work and hobbies; David’s kindhearted nature made him friends wherever he went.
David had an interest for nice cars. From driving his own personal car that he worked on often, to driving the highest end luxury vehicles entrusted to him by the patrons at his workplace. This interest was shared with his enthusiasm for photography (especially sunsets), working out (in fact, some say he looked like Captain America), many types of music, food, and dancing. His fiancé’s cooking was another of his loves, and they often danced in the kitchen together while she cooked. He will also be lovingly remembered for his connection to animals and how much they loved him.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents Albert and Grace DeMaria, and Walter Westerfield and Joyce Adele Edwards.
He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Diane Edwards; three younger siblings, Dustin Edwards, Danielle (Jeff) Burch, and Darcy Edwards; four nieces and nephews, Conor, Riley, Stella, and Dylan Burch; his fiancé, Miranda Slocum; and his beloved cat, Princess Squishy Butt Dela Sunshine Von Catdog.
David will be remembered for his generous heart and caring nature, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
