She graduated from Gainesville High School in 1975. While working at Publix in New Smyrna Beach, FL in 1980, she met the love of her life, David. To this day, David is still employed with Publix. When they started their family, Dawn devoted herself to her husband and sons. She was a Cub Scout Leader and the Team Mom for all of their activities. She was very active in the church and was very giving. She loved baking, gardening, crafting, sewing and crocheting. During her battle with cancer, she crocheted baby blankets and donated them to the nursery at Kennestone Hospital. Her strength and faith in God was an inspiration to all who met her.
