Mrs. Deborah D. Rogers, 71, of Woodstock, GA passed away December 2, 2018. Deborah was born on October 26, 1947 in Front Royal, VA to the late Rev. John E and Margaret R. Davis. She earned her BS in Nursing from Emory University and enjoyed a career in the emergency room at Piedmont Hospital for 26 years. She was an active member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, singing in the Chancel Choir and volunteered with Out and About Ministries. She was a loving wife and mother and a doting grandmother. Deborah enjoyed planning vacations, traveling and was an avid reader. She was selfless and loving and many friends saw her as their ray of sunshine. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Deborah leaves behind her beloved husband of 48 years, Bob Rogers; daughters, Melissa Fredrickson (Scott) and Jennifer Wilson (Matt); grandchildren, Maggie and Tucker Wilson; and brothers, Mark and James Davis. She was preceded in death by her siblings, John Davis III, Gayle Urquhart and Stephen Davis. A memorial service will be on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 3455 Canton Rd, Marietta, GA 30066.
