Born with a generous spirit and a deep sense of integrity, Dennis lived his life guided by the Golden Rule. He thought more of others than himself, gave freely, and believed that a person’s word was their greatest offering. He lived fully, laughed often, and carried a wicked sense of humor that brought joy to everyone who knew him.
Dennis is survived by his devoted wife, Betty Griffith; his son, Brian Griffith and daughter-in-law Melissa Griffith; his daughter, Donna DeLigt; his beloved grandchildren, Christina Morford, Dylan Griffith, and Megan Griffith; his nieces, Deborah Bell and Cindy Whitehouse; and his nephew, Doug Griffith.
A man of many passions, Dennis loved to ski, ride Harley-Davidson motorcycles, build intricate model ships, and tend to the earth as a Master Gardener. Highly self-reliant yet always willing to share his knowledge, time, and talents, he touched countless lives with his generosity and quiet wisdom.
Above all his pursuits and accomplishments, Dennis believed his most important job in life was to be a good father—and he fulfilled that role with unwavering dedication, love, and pride.
Dennis Burl Griffith leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and integrity. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him and in the many lives he enriched simply by being himself.
