Together, Denyce and John built a life and raised a family centered around their faith and ideals, as well as their love of family. She and John spent many years traveling to beloved places like Santorini, Greece while exploring the world on cruise ships.
As a math teacher with 20-plus years instructing students in Wisconsin and at Wheeler High School in Marietta, GA, Denyce was committed to growing young minds. She also worked with Seniors Helping Seniors at the Catholic Church of St. Ann in Marietta so she could give back and help those in nursing homes and other facilities. Denyce was an incredible cook and baker, a skill she proudly shared with friends and family. She’ll always be known for her pumpkin bread, city chicken, cheesy bacon dip, and hot spinach salad.
Denyce will be remembered fondly by all who knew her and her presence will be dearly missed.
