Derek proudly served for over 40 years in the Royal Army Dental Corps, dedicating much of his life to military service with professionalism and commitment. His years of service reflected his discipline, loyalty, and deep sense of duty.
He was married for 44 wonderful years to his beloved wife, Lorene A. Lee, who preceded him in death.
Derek was known to have sense of humor—when he was funny, he was really funny. He took pride in his personal possessions and enjoyed the finer things in life, especially his beloved Bose sound system and dressing well. He liked looking sharp, being fancy, and carrying himself with style.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene A. Lee, and his parents, Wallace and Barbara Lee.
Derek is survived by his stepdaughter, Lisa Cord and her husband Rick; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
