Diane went to be with Jesus and reunite with her parents at 9:07 AM on May 23rd, 2025. She leaves behind: her husband, Rob; her sons, Blake and Bryce; her sister, Donna, brother-in-law, Richard, and niece, Regan; her brother and sister-in law Steve and Wanda, her niece Caitlin, and her nephew, Ethan; and her in-laws Randy and Barbara.
Diane was a loving and faithful wife to Rob for 25 years, but best friend for more than 30 years. Their relationship showed every day how companionship built on faith will provide the strength to meet any challenge together.
Diane was a doting, caring mother to Blake and Bryce who she adored with every fiber of her being. Her example of loving, living, and giving is one that they exemplify in all of their interactions.
She was a fighter. Her strength through her 5-year battle with Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer) should serve as an example for all who knew her. She showed us how to fight with grace and achieved her goals of being there for all the important milestones that Blake and Bryce achieved during that battle. Despite losing her battle on May 23rd, she absolutely kicked cancer’s ass!
Lastly, Diane was the truest sort of friend and I challenge anyone to show me one person who didn’t passionately love her once she befriended them. She was the center of family friends, work friends, soccer Mom/Dad friends, or church small group friends despite having no need to be the central person. So many were touched by her ability to live, laugh, and love in just the way that was needed no matter your place in the friend group.
We will miss her for her examples of living with faith and exuding those principles in all her interactions. We will miss our travels with her and the adventures that she relished around every bend. We will miss the exercise, health, and energy that she brought into our lives. We will miss how she was always cold (24/7), but never failed to show up no matter the conditions. We will miss her constant example to give and serve in all situations as much as you are able.
In lieu of flowers, Diane requested support of the following charities:
