Donald F. Nindos, 75, passed away February 18, 2011 in Atlanta, GA after his battle with Lymphoma. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 22 at St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church, Dunwoody. Burial will follow at Milton Fields Cemetery in Alpharetta.
Born in Des Moines to Greek Immigrants, he attended the University of Iowa, and honorably served in the Iowa Nat’l Guard. Don spent his whole life being a top salesman in Des Moines, Kansas City, and Atlanta. He loved the challenge of meeting people and exceeding expectations. He will be remembered for his contagious love for life and his passion for the game of golf.
Don leaves behind his wife, Barbara, of 40 years; four daughters, Carrie Barie and Petra Wiggins of Woodstock, GA; Christy Spooner and Katie Lacona of W. Des Moines, IA; a sister, Kate Bergquist, of Austin, TX; and ten grandchildren.
