Donna Jean Kiser, 59, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Northside Cherokee Hospital, surrounded by her loving husband Glenn, her daughter Kailey, and family.
Born on July 6, 1966, in North Carolina to Sammy Burns Braswell and Judy Caroline Braswell, Donna grew up with a deep love for family and togetherness. She cherished every opportunity to gather with her loved ones, especially during birthdays and holidays. Known for her warmth and generosity, Donna found joy in cooking, decorating, and keeping a welcoming home.
Donna’s greatest love was her family. She adored her husband, Glenn, and their life together, as well as her beloved daughter, Kailey Caroline. She also shared a close bond with her mother, Judy; her father, Sam; her brother, Sammy Lynn and his wife Marsha Lynne; and her sister, Linda Gail. Her three nephews, Mackenzie Ross (“Mack”), Cody Allen, and Cameron Andrew, held a special place in her heart.
Donna’s life was guided by her faith in Jesus Christ. She had a strong and enduring love for her Savior, and her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in His presence. Her faith was a source of strength and hope, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Kiser; her daughter, Kailey Caroline Kiser; two stepsons, Clay Kiser and Zack Kiser; four step-grandchildren; her brother, Sammy Lynn Braswell and his wife Marsha Lynne of Acworth, GA; her sister, Linda Gail Braswell of Acworth, GA; and her nephews, Mackenzie Ross Braswell, Cody Allen Peveler, and Cameron Andrew Peveler.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Poole Funeral Home, 1970 Eagle Dr, Woodstock, GA 30189. The service will be officiated by Doug Keefe and Lane Vrooman of Crosspoint City Church. Family and friends are invited to gather in love and remembrance of Donna’s beautiful life.
Donna will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her kindness, her devotion to family, and the love she poured into every aspect of her life. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
