A memorial service will be held 3 P.M. Sunday September 18, 2011 at Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Stork officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 P.M. at the funeral home Sunday.
Mr. Stork was born May 5, 1931 to the late Earl, Sr. and Lucilee Ponder Stork in Canton, GA. Mr. Stork enjoyed racing at Dixie Speedway, West Atlanta, and Rome Speedways. Mr. Stork was a mechanic and loved building race cars and was employed with Cecil Cole Automotive.
Survivors include four daughters, Donna (Jerry) Neese, Woodstock, GA, Patsy (Michael) Schimrer, Adairsville, GA, Vicky (Wendell) Brown, Kennesaw, GA, Kristina (Brian) Thomas, Calhoun, GA, one son, Michael Ray (Shane) Cartersville, GA, one sister, Inez Gurrin, Colorado, Bob Storke, Las Vegas, NV, 22 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
