Edwin Lee Zell Jr.

Mr. Edwin Lee Zell, Jr, 55, of Woodstock, GA passed away March 11, 2021. Lee was born on September 26, 1965 in Birmingham, AL to the late Edwin and Kathryn Zell. He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration for Marketing from Auburn University.

Lee was a parishioner of Transfiguration Catholic Church, Marietta, GA. He found great joy as an Assistant Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 75, where he became a father figure to many young men. He was a very loving and devoted father, who remained present in his children’s lives while maintaining a busy work schedule. Lee was naturally curious, and enjoyed finding new restaurants, trying new foods, and exploring different cultures. His family will fondly remember all the wonderful times they had together, up in the mountains, down at the beach, and in their home. He was a wonderful story teller and easily made friends everywhere he went.

Lee is survived by his children, Kathryn Zell (fiancé, Colby) and Robert Zell and brother, Robert Zell.
