Elaine was born on November 29, 1944 in Newport, Rhode Island to the late Edward and Dorothy Bouchard. She grew up in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Elaine was a natural caregiver and spent a lot of her time as a nanny. She took great pride in taking care of herself. She was full of life and had a contagious laughter that will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
Elaine leaves behind her daughter, Michelle Chapman and her husband Phil; son, Shon Charland and his wife Vicki; grandchildren, Allyson Chapman, Kristi Chapman, Brandon Charland and Dylan Charland ; siblings, Jimmy, Billy, Joey and Sue; and her beloved dog of 12 years, Coco. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Georgie Charland and siblings, Janet, Beverly and Tommy.
The family will have a celebration of life service at a later date. I
