Elizabeth Ann Smith (nee Evans) passed away in the early morning hours of August 13, 2021. Ann was a native Georgian, born on August 11, 1941 in Dawsonville, Georgia to her Father Alden Henry Evans and her mother Ethel Evans. She was a loving wife and mother with a kind and generous heart. She was a devoted Christian and home-maker who loved cooking, working in her yard and spending time with her grandchildren and great granchildren.
She is survived by her Husband of 60 years, James Smith. Her daughter Connie Gunter, Son-in-law Barry Gunter and daughter Lynn Rusher. Ann is also survived by Brya Rusher, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
siblings: Francis Jolley, Betty Parks, Marie Crabtree, Caroline Hembree and David Evans.
Though her chair is left empty, our hearts are left full.
