Mrs. Ethel West, 90, of Englewood, FL passed away peacefully in Ellijay, GA on September 16, 2014. She was born on January 11, 1924 in Kingsport, TN to the late Dora and Hubert Bellamy. After high school, Ethel married and started a family in Arlington, VA. She then moved to Greeneville, TN where she raised her children. Ethel loved the beach, collecting flamingos and loved Florida. She spent the last 35 years in Englewood, FL with her now late husband, Sherman. Ethel leaves behind her daughter, Brenda Hoyle and her husband Michael of Ellijay, GA, son, Larry Waller, grandson, Kyle Waller, sister, Mary Elizabeth “Betts” Larkins and husband Elmer of Church Hill, TN and brother, Thurman Bellamy of St. Albans, TN and many nieces and nephews. The family will have a celebration of her life in the near future. Arrangements under the direction of Woodstock Funeral Home, Woodstock, GA.
