Eugene Wade Rollins

Eugene was a devoted family man who loved his family deeply. He especially adored his beloved wife, Jewel, and cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren. His family was the center of his world, and he took great pride in the life and love they shared together.

He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially fishing, which brought him peace and happiness over the years. Whether casting a line or spending time with those he loved, Eugene lived a life grounded in faith, family, and the outdoors.

Eugene is preceded in death by just a few days by his wife and soulmate, Mary "Jewel" Rollins; his daughter, Marie; and his parents Posey and Lorene Rollins.

He is survived by his sons, Michael Jones and wife Trena, Les Dodd and wife Karen, daughter, Gretchen Loggins and husband Seth, son Anthony; seven grandchildren, Scotty, Michaela (Jeremy), Kayla (Zachary), Chase, Leslie (Kailey), Michelle, and Samantha; six great grandchildren, Austyn, Scotty, Brentley, Rayvin, Adam, and Liam; and by his great great granddaughter, Sadie-Maye. Eugene is also survived by his brothers, Timothy, Paul, and Robert, his sisters, Brenda, Bonnie, Pat, Sherry, Laura, and Becky, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, Georgia. A service for Eugene will be Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Woodstock Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest with his wife at Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery, 1174 Pleasant Union Road, Canton, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to help the family with funeral expenses.

He will be remembered for his love, his devotion, and the lasting impact he made on his family and all who knew him.
