

Florence Evelyn Bennett Prince of Woodstock died Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the age of 83. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 11:00 am at Canton First United Methodist Church, Rev. Martha Fielden officiating. Burial at Pine Ridge Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Prince was born in Paducah, KY and was a resident of Woodstock since 1994. She was a graduate of Union Theological Seminary, a Director of Christian Education for several Presbyterian Churches and was an ordained Presbyterian Elder. Before retirement she was the Director of Contact HELP, Salem, NJ, a 24- hour phone crisis line and served on the United Way Board. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Frank Prince, Jr., a daughter Diane Prince and granddaughter Cara Prince of Woodstock, and a granddaughter Heather Wallace and two great grandsons. She was predeceased by a son, Frank Prince, III and a sister, Rev. Dr. Imogene Bennett. She was a wonderful and beloved mother, wife and friend. She wanted to be remembered that she tried her best in life and in everything she did.
