Foy was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife Anita Schmidt Taff, daughter Tracy and Jason Ashfield and grandchildren Curtys"Ty" Ashfield, Cody Ashfield and Wesley Ashfield, daughter Karen Taff, brother Milton Taff, brother in law and wife Bill and Jan Schmidt, sister in law Linda Davenport and brother in law Phillip Johnson and many beloved nieces and nephews. Foy was preceded in death by his parents Freeman Taff and Elizabeth Short Taff, brothers, Clarence Taff and Hillary Taff and mother in law Estelle Kolocek.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening January 30, 2019 from 4 until 8 pm at the Sandy Springs Christian Church 301 Johnson Ferry Rd NW, Sandy Springs, GA 30328 and again on Thursday morning from 10:00 until 11 am at the church. A celebration of Foy's life will be held at 11:00 am at the church. Interment with Military Honors will take place at 3:00 pm at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
The family will be accepting flowers and those who wish can make donations to the Sandy Springs Christian Church in honor of Foy.
