Gabriela and I started out as colleagues over 14 years ago which quickly turned into a wonderful friendship.  It was impossible to not love Gaby with her bubbly, caring, loving, charismatic personality.   We worked on many projects together and had some great work trips all over the world which I will treasure those memories forever.   Santi and Andreas your mom would glow talking about you both!  You boys are what put that beautiful smile on her face daily.  She may not be physically here, but I know she is watching over you and most likely in some way still planning your future.  Hold onto all your wonderful memories as they will get you through the bad days.  Gabriela, my friend I will miss you and your wonderful smile!  Rest in the Lord.  Love you, Pam

El 17 de Mayo de este año, Gabita me habló para despedirse de mi, y ella me consolaba y me daba ánimos.   La conocí en Amex en los 90’s, estuve presente cuando se cambió a un departamento a una cuadra de la oficina, salíamos juntas y nos acompañaba el que ahora es mi esposo.  Cuando me casé, solo fue a la Iglesia y al voltear del altar para salir por el pasillo de en medio, a la primera que vi fue a ella con su habitual sonrisa, nunca se me olvida su cara de felicidad. Se fue a vivir a USA.  Estuvimos en contacto por Face pero desde la pandemia establecimos contacto por video llamada o whats. Siempre de buenas y positiva, y adorando a sus hijos.    La extraño, y la llevaré siempre en mi mente y corazón como se lo prometí.  Gabita, Maridita linda:  al Infinito y más allá   ⭐️🌟💫💫💫💫💫💫🌈✨☀️ Te quiero siempre

Gaby was our exchange student from August 1984-July 1985
She was an absolute delight to have as part of our family. Her outgoing personality and easygoing manner made her fit right in. When Gaby came, our other children were 16 (Marc), almost 15 (Craig) and 12 (Jennifer). From the beginning, she called us Mom and Dad, which I loved. 
Gaby visited us several times afterwards. We would chat on the phone occasionally. 
Gaby will forever be in our hearts. Her passing is like losing one of my children. 
Rest In Peace in the arms of the Lord, sweet Gaby.

Gabriela was a lover. 

She loved her work in the travel industry. She loved (most of) the people she worked with and (most of) the people she worked for. She loved to learn about problems and to solve them. When I worked with her, she was the project manager on several of my technical projects. And she was uniquely curious and unafraid of technical problems as a project manager. She always asked a lot of questions, the right questions, and was never afraid to engage the right people to dig as deep as it took to get to the bottom of an issue. 

She loved traveling, learning about new cultures and meeting new people. She loved words and languages, reading and writing. She was an incredible speaker, conversationalist and writer. We all got to witness how insightful and funny a writer she was when she started her letters during her battle with cancer. 

But if you could take all the loves Gabriela had, for the people she loved, for all the countries she loved, for all the books, words and languages she loved, and you could somehow sum it all up, you would only arrive at a tiny fraction of the love she felt for her boys. That "Mother's love" you hear about - that's an expression that must have been invented for Gabriela. The pride, the love, the worries, the affection, the adoration, they were all things that kept Gabriela going for as long as she did. I know, with every fiber of my being, that Santi and Andreas were and are, wherever Gabriela is now, what she was and is the most proud of bringing and nurturing into this world, and what brought and brings her the most joy and the most pride. 

I can only hope that you two continue to feel the overwhelming love of your Mother, even though she's not here with us anymore to show you and tell you directly herself.

I had the please of working with Gabriela while at Datalex. She had time for everyone and always had a smile on her face. She will be missed by all that knew her. My deepest condolences to the family

Her sons, were the mosto important part of her live, no mater what.

We always did everything as a family. She was the fist, the older sibling, looking up for us. But she was always the younger sister, that we love to take care of.

Gabriela and I worked on few airline customer projects. We shared our culture and talk about our kids. We Both have same age group kids. Gabriela always expressed her confidence in style. It is sad to loose such a nice person. Rest In Peace Gabriela!! :-(

Although I met Gabriela through work we swiftly became friends. Gabriela’s warmth and sense of fun make loving her easy. Our times traveling together for work were great times and I will carry these memories in my heart forever. Goodnight god bless Gabriela, rest in paradise my friend xxx

Dear Gaby we spend 4 years at Anahuac University, you were always smart and kind 
Over the years I saw you grow you were a very successful woman in all the ways. We shared beautiful moments along with our Anahuac friends.  You will be always in my heart . Love you and miss you dear friend . 

Met Gabriela at a business conference. We got on straight away as our group chatted and laughed about everything, business, politics, family, "life".

Gabriela had a great laugh, smile and zest for life and loved her family. That came across so much and although we only kept in touch via messaging and the blog, the friendship continued.

She is great and heaven is now her home. Her legacy and values is with her family now to continue.

La vida nos unió desde pequeñas (Desde que teníamos 8 años)Tengo lindos recuerdos de ti. Siempre te quise mucho y sé que tú a mi también.
Siempre alegre, una gran estudiante, una gran amiga y una gran luchadora. Recuerdo que entrábamos a la escuela a las 8am y tú ya habías ido a entrenar con tu equipo de natación, al otro lado de la CDMX.
Recuerdo que usabas el pelo largo y recogido en una trenza preciosa.
Fui a tu casa muchas veces. Recuerdo que la primera vez que fui, me impresionó que rezaban antes de empezar a comer. Tu mami hacía comida muy rica.
La vida nos separó por la distancia pero sabíamos que contábamos la una con la otra. No te pude visitar en tu enfermedad, porque no pude conseguir mi VISA a tiempo. Pero sé que sabes, que siempre estuvieron ustedes en mis oraciones, pensamientos y mi corazón .
Te quiero y te extraño.  
Andrés y Santiago cuentan conmigo como una tía, aunque no me conozcan . Mi cariño siempre .

We can’t really talk in past tense about Gabriela. We can’t really accept that the most wonderful person that she was is not going to light the space around us. Smart and gracious, funny and carrying, a true friend, I consider myself privileged to have worked together. Gabby was a joy to work with.  She was excellent at her job of course, but working with her was a pleasure because she brought her personality to everything - her strength, her fun and her enthusiasm.  Her family were her motivation, her boys meant everything to her and she was always quick to share stories about them.  She will be missed in Ireland as I'm sure she will in Atlanta and Mexico.


Gabriela was the most wonderful person. I am honoured to have worked with her for many years. She was always so kind and thoughtful. My condolences to her all her family. To her two wonderful sons... your mother really was the best person.

I have great memories of working with Gabriela in Datalex.  She was very competent and organised, but most importantly, her positivity, her smile and her kindness were very contagious. I remember her 50th birthday celebrated in Dublin. She will be missed. Sincere condolence to her family.

I had the pleasure of working with Gabriela during her time at Datalex both remotely and in Atlanta. 
Gabriela was so full of life, fun and laughter, she will be sorely missed by everyone that knew her.

I had the pleasure of working with Gabriela on several occasions in Atlanta and Dublin.  She was bright, hard working and made everyone feel comfortable. She always had a smile on her face and will be missed.  Sincere condolences to her family.

I had the pleasure of working with Gabriela many years ago at Datalex and when I visited the Atlanta offices Gabriela took me out for some amazing ribs and I met her family and her 2 sons were very young and I remember thinking what a gorgeous family they were. I remember being away from home and Gabriela looking after me.  
Gabriela lit up a room with her warmth, smile and amazing personality. She always had time for everyone and I shared many happy times with her when ever she visited Dublin.
My deepest condolences to the family. Gabriela shined very bright.
