Gene Belcher

Mr. Wilson E. “Gene” Belcher, 77, of Woodstock, GA passed away August 16, 2015. Gene was born on February 25, 1938 in Atlanta, GA. After graduating from Sylvan High School, Gene attended the Atlanta Law School. He was an avid golfer and played at the Eagle Watch Golf Course. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Gene was loving known as Big Daddy by his grandson. Gene will be immensely missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Denise King, parents, grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Sam Belcher and brothers, Larry and John Belcher. Gene is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Sue Belcher, daughter, Rosalind S. Belcher and grandson, Chase King. A memorial service will be on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 12:00pm in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
