George Gantz

George proudly served his country for 4 years in the United States Air Force. He met the love of his life at Niagara Falls Air Force Base. They celebrated 50 years of marriage, and the rest is history. He worked for the Department of Defense as a mechanic until his retirement.

He served as Historian with the American Legion Post 316 for many years.

George is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lillian Gantz; and his sister, Dora Ellen.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Gantz; son, Chris Gantz; sisters, Joyce (Ernest) Mickley, Anita (Robert) Flewelling; grandchildren, James Kramer, Jon Kramer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Legion post 316.
