Gifford was born on November 20, 1984, in Sandy, Utah, to Drew and Pamela (Worthen) Shurmantine — and from day one, he brought his own brand of love, humor, and grit into the world.
Gifford was loving to the core. He took incredible care of his mother, Pamela, always putting her first with a heart full of loyalty and kindness. He was smart, funny, and had a sharp, sarcastic wit that could make anyone laugh — even on the hard days. A true trooper, Gifford faced life's challenges with a strength and resilience that inspired everyone who knew him.
He loved playing poker and had a special place in his heart for Las Vegas. If there was a Dallas Cowboys game on, you can bet he was watching — cheering them on as their biggest and most loyal fan.
Gifford is preceded in death by his father, Drew Alan Shurmantine, and his two brothers, Geoffrey and Bradley Shurmantine. He is survived by his devoted mother, Pamela Shurmantine, who loved him fiercely and will forever carry his memory close.
Gifford lived life his own way — with humor, honesty, and a heart that loved deeply. He will be missed more than words can say.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 11:00am to 12:00pm at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 490 Arnold Mill Road, Woodstock, Georgia 30188. Immediately following, at 12:00pm, a funeral mass will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.
