Gladys Parker Bennett, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in her home on October 3, 2026. She was born on June 15, 1943, in Augusta, Georgia, to the late Grady and Ola Mae Little.
Gladys will be lovingly remembered for the joy she found in the simple things in life and, most of all, for the love she shared with her family. She enjoyed bird watching, spending time with her loved ones, visiting the beach, coloring, and working on word searches. Her warmth, love, and presence brought comfort and happiness to those around her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Ola Mae Little; a brother; a sister; and her beloved son, Frankie.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Eddie Bennett; her children, Michael Parker, Melody Arnold, and Patricia Mattox; and her siblings, Calvin Little, Sue Morris, and Nancy Wilson.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica Goss (Dustin), Allen Parker (Sara), Felisha Greene (Dottie), Amber Rothschild, Colton Meeks, Cheyenne Crowe, and Leslie Parker, along with seven great-grandchildren, who will carry her love and memory in their hearts.
Though Gladys is no longer with us, the love she gave, the memories she created, and the lives she touched will remain forever. Her family and friends will treasure the moments shared with her and carry her memory forward with love.
“Forever loved, forever remembered, forever in our hearts.”
