

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brad Cranston officiating. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery with Poole Funeral Home directing. A visitation will be held on Wednesday morning from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Poole Funeral Home.
Greg was born to David and Sara Jane Cranston on October 13, 1964, in Sewickley, PA. He married Lisa Lohmeyer on June 17, 1982. They later divorced. He married Leah Baxter on June 10, 1995. They later divorced.
Greg spent much of his adult life as a restaurant manager and was a grill cook in his own right with an expertise in wings and ribeyes. Several years ago, he was responsible for the food preparation at First Baptist Church of Woodstocks Man Camp. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking on the Appalachian trail. He was fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Penguins. He was an avid listener of talk radio and an enthusiast of Rush Limbaugh in particular. Greg accepted Christ as his Savior as a child and left this world with the assurance that Heaven was his eternal home.
Survivors include two daughters, Emily Cranston, Athens, GA., and Lindsay Cranston, Woodstock, GA; two sons, Gregory Cranston, Jr. (Lindsey), Cartersville, GA., and Ryan Cranston (Mayan), Ridgecrest, CA; parents, Dave, Sr. and Sara Jane Cranston, Pittsburgh, PA; one sister, Beth Anne Lewis, Pittsburgh, PA; three brothers, Dave Cranston (Joni), Pittsburgh, PA., Brad Cranston (Heidi), Iowa, and Patrick Cranston (Jennifer), Pittsburgh, PA; six grandchildren, Aiden, Nolan, Ronen, Addelyn Cranston, Roan, and Kamryn Cranston; many nieces and nephews.
