Harry Murray James

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Georgia National Cemetery.

Mr. James was born September 30, 1932, in Newark, New Jersey to the late Willis and Emma Havlik James. Mr. James later served his country in the United States Marines and served in Korea in 1950-1952 and was awarded the Purple Heart. Mr. James graduated from Upsala University in 1957 where he played college football. He married Elizabeth Iuso in 1963 and they settled in Allentown, PA. Mr. James started his career with Mack Trucks and worked for 27 years as a purchasing agent. Mr. James was also a member of Hillside United Methodist Church.

Mr. James was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann James, a son Tim James, brothers, Don and Woody James.

Survivors include his sons, Stephen James and Russell James; a daughter in law, Jackie James; two granddaughters, Haley and Kiersten James;
