Helen Irene Davis, 91, of Canton, GA passed away peacefully on August 3, 2022. Helen grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University in 1952 with a Medical Technologist degree. She raised her family in Livonia, Michigan and was the devoted mother of Kathryn (Derrick) Teel, Bob (Kim), and Jane (Larry) Hund. Helen was a loving grandmother to Angela (Bill) Dullea, Caroline Teel, Joni, Megan (Joe) Musca, Jordan (Ivey), Tyler (Hannah), and Kevin, Connor, and Diane Hund and the proud great-grandmother of Ava, Taryn, Joey, Mason, Matthew, Seth, and Liam. She is also survived by her sister, Joanne Heering.
Helen had strong faith and was an involved and long-time member of Ward Church. She participated in several mission trips and volunteered for grief support and food/shelter organizations. She was renowned for her cooking and was often put to work making bread, fruit pizza, and other specialties shortly after arriving at her childrens homes. Helen also enjoyed golfing, biking, and skiing.
