

Helen Louise Mack was born to Marie Strather on October 6, 1938 in the District of Columbia “Washington D.C.”
Helen was raised and grew up in Washington, D.C., where she attended school in the D.C. public school system. She later met the love of her life, James M.Mack, whom preceded her in death. From that union, they had six children, Toni, Betty, James Mack Jr. “Jimmy”, Eric, Pamela, and David. Helen and James raised their kids in the Kenilworth and Montana area of D.C. for a large portion of her life. Helen spent a many years volunteering in the D.C. area food banks, and public school systems. Helen loved her city of Washington D.C. and made everyone know it by her love for the Redskins. Helen was a devoted Christian and fierce prayer warrior who loved the Lord with her whole heart, with unwavering faith. That love extended to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and beyond. “Nan” as some of the older grandchildren called her loved to babysit and watch over her family. Family trips, summer picnics, and bonding time was her joy.
Helen leaves behind three daughters, Toni, Betty, Pamela and two sons Eric and David. A host of grandchildren and an abundance of family and friends, whose lives she touched.
A visitation for Helen will be held Friday, September 9, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 9, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188. A committal service will occur Friday, September 9, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Cherokee Memorial Park, 120 MEMORIAL DR, CANTON, GA 30114.
