She was a long time member of Transfiguration Catholic Church and was involved with their senior group.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Smyrna and enjoyed crocheting and playing cards.
The wife of the late WWII veteran, Julius Malecki, she is survived by her son, Richard Malecki and his wife, Susan, of Woodstock; grandson, Michael Malecki of Marietta; and great-grandchildren, Jordan and Madison Malecki of Woodstock.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 2, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Woodstock Funeral Home in Woodstock. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 9:00 am at Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Roswell.
