Jackie Dean Palmer, age 90, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on May 7, 2026. Born on January 26, 1936, in Anniston, Alabama, Jackie lived a life full of faith, love, and quiet strength — a life that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A devoted Christian, Jackie’s faith was the cornerstone of everything she did. It showed in the way she loved her family, welcomed her neighbors, and faced each day with grace and purpose. She was the kind of woman whose presence made a room feel warmer and whose prayers made hearts feel steadier.
Jackie’s journey took her from Alabama to Trenton, Michigan, before she and her beloved husband, James Palmer, found their home in the sunshine of St. Augustine, Florida. There, she and James built something special together — the Sea Horse Mobile Home Park — a community they nurtured with care and commitment. It was a fitting reflection of who Jackie was: someone who poured herself into building a home, not just for her own family, but for others as well.
Above all else, Jackie was a mother and grandmother in the truest sense. She loved her family with everything she had, and her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild will carry her warmth and example with them always.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Palmer, her partner in life and in faith.
She is survived by her sons Michael Palmer (Tammy) and David Palmer (Shannon); her grandchildren Haley, Jacob, Caylynn, Grant, and Sierra; and her great-granddaughter Lainey.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”— Matthew 5:4
