Webster was a hardworking man who loved to stay busy and never stopped building, fixing, or dreaming. After 35 dedicated years with General Motors, he retired and started his own small steering column repair business, continuing to do what he loved — creating and improving with his own two hands.
A proud Freemason and Shriner, Webster was raised at Duluth Lodge #480 in 1957 and later affiliated with Woodstock Lodge #246. He served as Worshipful Master of Duluth Lodge #480 in 1984, received his 50-Year Award in 2015, and was just days shy of earning his 60-Year recognition. He was created a Noble at Yaarab Shrine on June 24, 1978, and was a devoted member of the Tucker Club and the Patrol Unit, where his name is honored on the Wall of Fame.
Webster lived life fully and on his own terms. He rode his Harley-Davidson motorcycle through all 50 states, smoked cigars by the fire while listening to country music, and cherished every moment on his property in Dahlonega. He loved playing cards with friends, tinkering with ideas, and spending time with his family and dogs. His imagination was endless, his humor infectious, and his heart steady and kind.
He is survived by his children Jimmy, Janet, Jennifer, Bethany, John, and Michael, along with countless friends, brothers in Freemasonry, and loved ones who will forever carry his spirit in their hearts.
A visitation will be held on October 18, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Woodstock Funeral Home, located at 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188, United States.
A memorial service will follow on the same day at 11:00 am at the same location.
Webster will be remembered as a caring, kind, and funny man — someone who worked hard, lived freely, and loved deeply.
