James Earl Goodson, age 86, formerly of Hebron, Maryland passed peacefully at Cedarhurst Assisted Living in Canton Georgia on July 15, 2026. He was born September 9, 1939 in Jefferson City, Missouri. He is survived by sons Michael Goodson & Scott Goodson and his sister Emily Ann Terbrock, married Robert W. Terbrock, St. Charles, Missouri. He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Ann Goodson, mother and father Anna Laura Goodson (Hawn) Arthur Earl Goodson of St. Charles, Missouri and brother Dean Lowell Goodson of Fort Madison, Iowa.
Jim recently moved to Woodstock, Georgia where he enjoyed spending time with his three grand-children and six great-grandchildren.
Jim was a Air Force veteran and will be interred in the Georgia National Military Cemetery
