Just a couple of days prior to his passing into the arms of Jesus, Jim and I exchanged greetings and thoughts as welcomers in the narthex of the Wieuca Road Baptist Church on Sunday, December 1. As usual he was faithful and dependable in showing his interest in others. Beginning today, just one week later, he was sorely missed. Thanks to Jim for his greeting ministry!

Jim was such an exceptional and loving man who exemplified the love of Jesus through out his life, a very caring man that will be missed by family and friends alike...

Jim's constant dedication to welcoming everyone to Wieuca each week over many years is an example for all...his smile and approach are a continuing. reminder of what is truly right in this world. My thoughts and prayers are with Jim's family, and with all of us who knew him.  Jim was a wonderful person, and gracious and caring colleague, and a superlative engineer.  We will miss Jim.

Jim was a very special person, so thoughtful, kind, and caring. He always showed up at our extended famiy events whether they were mile-stone birthday celebrations or funerals; his attention to the older generation of our family was remarkable--he would just show up at the hospital or nursing home for a visit, making us wonder how he "knew." A couple of years ago he sent me an email wishing me a happy mother's day! I will truly miss his sweet nature and sincere interest in me and my family.

Jim was a very good engineer and a great man.  He helped me with several projects at work.  Jim was easy to work with and always very helpful.

I worked with Jim for many years at Lucent.  He was not only a co-worker and boss, but also a friend.  You will be dearly missed.

We offer our condolences in the loss of Jim. He was such a kind, thoughtful and caring person. Mother was always delighted each time he came to visit her, he reminded her so much of Aunt Mildred.
