Me and you and Stayci were my entire childhood. I love you dear cousin, you are missed.

James walked into the rehearsal, sat down at the table and offered everyone a piece of gum...he beamed sunshine and had this kind of impish vibe  about him that made me instantly think to myself "we're gonna be friends". We became good friends and he joined a band Im in. One day at an outdoor gig, we're on break eating some BBQ sandwiches...James suddenly spits his food out and tells me he got stung on his tongue! We got some ice but didn't know what else to do. Ok, we're playing our next set and he starts itching, broke out in hives on his arms, kinda ick...and he's still playing guitar...then his tongue starts swelling, uh oh...so he comes over to me and says he's got to go...he drove himself to the hospital and they fixed him up but Dang! I thought that took some I don't know what, to drive yourself to a hospital, we were somewhere not in Atlanta, while your tongue is swelling from a bee bite...idve been totally freaking out but James was like (pulling up his sleeve where his arm is spotted with itchy hives) "I dotta doh, ny dung id delling". He declined an ambulance and chanced that gps would get him to a hospital in time. Man, that was crazy. He took it in stride, he was good natured about it all. Not sure he ate outdoors again. I miss you, Jamey James.

I have had the pleasure of becoming friends with James, aka MoonCain, through music  jams. I just love how he had such a praceful, beautiful spirit and had a way of encouraging  and comforting people and always staying positive. My last band gig, he saved me from panicking thinking Id have to cancel my show and would message me on occasion with music advice and guidance.  To all his family and friends, I am sending love, prayers and good energy... he will be deeply missed and always loved and cherished in our memories and hearts.🙏🏽❤️ Some people in life make more of an imprint on us  than than we realize even if not super close. James was one of those people . Thank you James. Rest in peace.

James had a profound impact on my life. We came of age together but he was light years ahead of me. It's a challenge to find the words. "God only knows what I'd be..." without him. My heart is with Sandra, Stayci and all of his amazing family in friends.

I remember James from HS.  A kind and full of life friend.   Prayers for his family during this time of loss.  He was a good fella.

My ex-husband, James, was the love of my life.  Even though we divorced in 2023, we spent a total of 23 years together, and 16 of them in marriage.   He still holds a place in my heart.   I truly thought that he was living the life he wanted, committed to music.  I was shattered to learn of his passing.  James was a kind man, but the world wasn't always kind to him.  May his memory be a blessing, and may all of his friends and family find peace.  
I chose an orange candle because it was his favorite color.
