Janice Mason McLaughlin

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hansel Mason and Katie Bell Partridge Mason; her sister, Lynn Mason Williams; and the love of her life, her husband, George "Jerry" McLaughlin Jr.

Janice is survived by her stepchildren, Terri McLaughlin Harof (Doug), George "Buddy" McLaughlin (Ashley), Katt McLaughlin Barcelo (Dago), and Karen McLaughlin Maynard (Frank); her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her nieces and nephews; her brother, Terry Mason; and her beloved fur baby, Sasse.

Jerry and Janice shared 46 wonderful years of marriage, celebrating their anniversary in 2024 before Jerry's passing in August 2025. Together they cherished a life full of adventure, spending two years traveling across the country in their RV to visit friends and family, enjoying cruises regularly, and returning often to Massachusetts, Jerry's home state, which held a special place in both of their hearts.

Janice and Jerry were also passionate sports fans, especially when it came to football, and were proud, die-hard Florida State Seminoles fans through and through.

Janice will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her love of family & friends and her passion for shopping and anything with a little bling.

Janice will be laid to rest with her husband on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, Georgia.

Family and friends who wish to participate in the funeral procession are invited to gather at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA. The procession will depart promptly at 9:00 a.m. Please arrive by 8:30 a.m. to allow sufficient time to assemble prior to departure.
