Janice Stutzman, age 82, a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2025, in Marietta, Georgia.
Janice was born on December 10, 1942, to Eugene and Mary (Talley) Sisco.
On April 8, 1961, Janice married the love of her life, Frederick Stutzman.
Together, they built a life filled with love, purpose, and family, raising three sons: Robert, Edward, and Michael.
Janice had a long and successful career in the field of medical transcription, where her precision and work ethic earned her respect among colleagues.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Janice was endlessly creative. There was hardly a project she didn’t embrace with joy. She loved making things for her family, and her hands were rarely still.
From projects knitting to crocheting to quilting, her creations were heartfelt and often shared with others.
She also gave generously of her time to community and church-based craft efforts, including projects like prayer shawl ministries that brought comfort to many.
Janice was most fulfilled when surrounded by family, who brought her endless joy and pride.
She is survived by her three sons: Robert, Edward (Kathy), and Michael (Dana); seven grandchildren: Evan, Erin (Donovan), Lauren, Logan, Megan, Emma, and Samuel, her brother, Kenneth (Barbara) Sisco, her sister-in-law, Alice (Leroy) Geletzke and nephews Keith, Curtis, Douglas Sisco, and Frederick Geletzke.
