Jay Gerald Gentry

Jay Gerald Gentry, age 40, passed away in Woodstock, GA. Jay is survived by his loving wife Jessica McCart Gentry, his father Jay F. Gentry, wife Carolyn; his mother Swanee Hielscher, husband Merle; his grandmother Amelia Gentry; and his sisters Dawn Patterson and Kristin Landers. He was born on Friday July 13, 1973 in Cocoa Beach, FL. While he was employed at Benson Integrated Solutions, from 1999 to present, he enlisted in the Naval Reserves. Once in the Navy he was on mission Iraq Freedom where he was ranked as an AOAN on the CVN-71 Roosevelt Carrier. Jay proudly served our country for 8 years. His family will remember him as a loving husband, son, brother and uncle. Services will be held at Woodstock Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 11:00 am. Burial service will follow at Georgia National Cemetery. A celebration of Jay’s life will be held at Brookshire club house from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
