Jennifer Allums, a faithful Believer in and follower of Jesus Christ, passed away on February 14, 2026 at the age of 42. She grew up in Corner, Alabama where she met the love of her life, Nic Allums, in high school. They were married on December 16, 2006 and moved to the greater area of Atlanta, Georgia in 2008.
Jennifer was a model of pure kindness, humility, and love. All who knew her loved her and were drawn to her. Those who saw her bright, all-consuming smile find joy now knowing that it is on her face once again as she lifts her hands in worship of her Lord.
Jennifer served in the places that do not shine under the spotlight, but lay the foundation for lives to be built and changed. She spent 18 years serving in the preschool and young children’s ministry at First Baptist Church Woodstock in Woodstock, Georgia. Thousands of children have known her kindness and have seen the model of what Christian love truly is in their most formative years. Many experience her generosity firsthand – providing food, clothing, and other needs. All given from the shadows in honor of Savior. Families for generations to come will be marked by her presence and love.
Jennifer was a model of motherhood as well. Her children have known an unending, unconditional love that is unsurpassed by any but Jesus, Himself. She served them, taught them to love and honor others, led them to love Jesus, encouraged them to grow, and given them the room to live and learn.
Above all, she was an excellent wife, beyond description and beyond the example of Proverbs 31. Jennifer and Nic, her husband, began their relationship at 17 years of age and knew the deepest joys of a Christ honoring marriage.
Jennifer was deeply loved and cherished by her parents, Danny and Kathy Conner, and her brother, Brad Conner, who survive her. She is also survived by her husband, Nic Allums, who loved and honored her in everything he did, and her children who have learned what true love means through her example: Piper (13), Henley (11), Levi (5), and Micah (4). In her honor and memory, donations may be made to First Baptist Church Woodstock. All gifts given in her name will be used in direct support of the “Littles” ministry at the church which ministers to and serves the needs of infants, preschoolers, and young children in the greater Woodstock area.
