September 16, 1972 - August 2, 2025Jennifer Suzanne Herman, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher, and friend,passed away peacefully at her home in Holly Springs, Georgia, on August 2, 2025, at the ageof 52.Born on September 16, 1972, in Syracuse, New York, Jennifer was a proud graduate ofLiverpool High School. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education andEnglish from Canisius University in Buffalo, NY, and a Master’s Degree in Reading fromSUNY Oswego. Her deep love for learning and passion for children shaped her 27 yearcareer as a 3rd grade teacher with Cobb County Schools at Tritt Elementary School inMarietta, GA, where she touched countless lives and inspired generations.Jennifer married the love of her life, Michael Herman, on June 6, 1998. Together they shared27 beautiful years of marriage and raised their daughter, Morgan Herman, who wasJennifer’s pride and joy.She is survived by her devoted husband Michael; her daughter Morgan; her loving motherCynthia Peters; her siblings Mark Peters (Kay), Cindi LoSurdo (Dominic), and Kim Pierce(Billy); and her many cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by herfather, Roy Peters; her grandparents; her sister Laurie Peters; and her brother Gary Peters.Jennifer lived a life filled with warmth, generosity, and joy. She had a special gift for makingothers feel seen and celebrated, especially on their birthdays. Her love for the Buffalo Bills,reading, and Christmas was contagious, and her home was always a place of laughter andlight.Above all, Jennifer’s heart belonged to her family and the countless students she nurturedthroughout her life. Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will live on in the manylives she touched.A visitation will be held at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025, followed by a FuneralMass at 1:00 p.m. Both services will take place at Transfiguration Catholic Church inMarietta, Georgia.A donation in memory of Jennifer may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network atwww.pancan.org
