Jennifer was born on September 10, 1973 and raised in Hollywood, Florida surrounded by an extended loving family. Growing up Jennifer loved playing basketball, learned to play the violin, and often spent time at the beach. In 1986, Jennifer and her parents moved to Woodstock, Georgia where she later went on to graduate from Etowah High School. Continuing her education at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, she graduated with her degree in management information systems in 1996. While in college she was an active member of the rowing team and participated in marathon running. Jennifer pursued a co-op with Bellsouth during her studies and would begin her IT career with the same company after graduating.
After having her two children, she furthered her education at Kennesaw State University and graduated with her MBA. One of her proudest moments was creating her graduating class video montage documenting their personal lives and accomplishments. She went on to have a decades long successful IT auditing career and worked her way up to performing as a senior IT auditor.
Jennifer was a loving person described as compassionate, hardworking, and generous. She was always willing to help others and deeply valued her family and friends. Relying on her faith she was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Jennifer was known for her love of sparkles, headbands, peacocks, and her cat Oreo. She was the best mom who did everything for her children and always said her kids made her proud. Some of her many hobbies included cooking, watching inspirational movies, and crafting. Jennifer will continue to be remembered as an extraordinary woman, a caring friend, and a deeply missed daughter and mother. The family extends their appreciation for the love and support of family, friends, and the congregation of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church during their season of grief.
A celebration of life service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Woodstock, Georgia on Saturday November 23rd at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Stroke Association, an organization Jennifer felt strongly about.
