Mr. Reittenbach was born on April 25, 1941, in Saginaw, Michigan, son of the late Jack Reittenbach and Nora Reittenbach.
Mr. Reittenbach was a devoted member of the Baptist faith and a proud servant of the Lord. He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1963 to 1965 with the 1st Cavalry Division and the 82nd Airborne. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family and created countless treasured memories with those he loved most. In his spare time, he enjoyed working outdoors, tending to his gardens, and taking pride in his yard. He loved "tinkering" with projects and was known by family and friends as the best handyman around—always willing to lend a helping hand. A loyal and enthusiastic fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, he rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his beloved UGA team.
He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Reittenbach.
Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-one years, Vicki Strickland Reittenbach; daughters, Jill R. (Jeff) Moore and Jessie (Mike) Long; son, Jason (Kristen) Reittenbach; grandchildren, Sarah Pearce, Abbey Pearce, Nico Reittenbach, Nova Long, Huddy Reittenbach and Emma Long.
Poole Funeral Home, 1970 Eagle Dr., Woodstock, GA 30189 is honored to serve Mr. Reittenbach’s family during this time.
